BESTIMATE MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS POLICY

1. OVERVIEW
This Policy explains how Bestimate may send optional marketing communications to users who have provided explicit consent. Marketing messages are not required to use the Platform and are entirely optional.
This Policy does not cover operational notifications, which are essential to your use of the Platform, including:
• Account verification and security alerts
• Estimate and chat notifications
• Policy updates and important service announcements
• Payment receipts and transaction confirmations

2.1 Promotional Offers
• Discount codes and special credit pricing
• Seasonal or limited-time offers
• Referral program rewards and bonuses
• Bulk credit purchase incentives
2.2 Educational Content
• How-to guides and tips for using the Platform
• Case studies and best practices from successful users
• Home services industry trends and insights
• Professional development resources (for Pros)
2.3 Personalized Suggestions
• Recommended professionals based on your service needs
• Tailored offers based on your activity and preferences
• Location-based promotions (where permitted by law and consented to)
3. COMMUNICATION CHANNELS
With your explicit consent, marketing communications may be sent through the following channels:
• Email
• SMS (text messages)
• WhatsApp messages
• Push notifications through the Bestimate mobile app
You can choose which channels you prefer and opt in or out of each channel independently.
4. CONSENT AND USER PREFERENCES
4.1 Explicit Consent Requirements
• Consent must be given manually through an active opt-in (no pre-checked boxes)
• Separate opt-ins are required for each communication channel
• You can choose to receive marketing on some channels but not others
• Consent is not required for operational communications necessary to provide our services
4.2 UAE Legal Compliance We comply with all applicable UAE marketing and data protection laws, including:
• UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45/2021)
• TDRA (Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority) Unsolicited Communications Policy
• UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15/2020)
4.3 Proof of Consent We maintain auditable records of all marketing opt-ins and opt-outs for legal compliance and verification purposes. These records include:

• Any subsequent changes to preferences

We are committed to ensuring all marketing communications are:

• Non-intrusive and respectful of your time
• Limited in frequency to avoid overwhelming you
• Clear, accurate, and professionally presented
• Compliant with applicable laws and regulations
Marketing messages will only be sent to users who have provided clear, explicit consent for the specific communication channel.
6. WITHDRAWING CONSENT
You have the right to withdraw your marketing consent at any time, through any of the following methods:
In-App Settings: Navigate to your account settings and manage your communication preferences for each channel individually.
Email: Click the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email, or email us at marketing@bestimate.ae.
SMS/WhatsApp: Reply with "STOP" to any marketing message, or adjust your preferences in-app.
Push Notifications: Manage push notification preferences in your device settings or within the Bestimate app settings.
Once you withdraw consent:
• You will no longer receive marketing communications through the selected channel(s)
• Your preference change will take effect within 48 hours
• You will continue to receive essential operational communications required for using the Platform
Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect your ability to use the Platform or receive service-related notifications.
7. DATA USAGE
We use your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. For marketing purposes:
What We Collect:
• Communication preferences and opt-in history
• Engagement data (e.g., email opens, link clicks)
• Service usage patterns to personalize relevant offers
How We Use It:
• To send marketing communications you've consented to receive
• To analyze engagement and improve message relevance
• To ensure compliance with legal requirements
• To personalize content based on your interests and activity
What We Don't Do:
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third-party marketers
• We do not send marketing communications without your explicit consent
